Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

No Time to Study (notimetostudy.app) is run by Vertex Ventures LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company ("we", "us"). We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Questions or requests: info@notimetostudy.app.

2. What we collect

When you join the waitlist

• Your email address.
• If you choose to tell us: your level of study and the course you're most worried about.
• If you answer our optional follow-up questions: roughly when your next exam is and what you currently study with.
• Your confirmation that you are 18 or older and accept our Terms and this policy, with the time you confirmed.

When you use the app (after launch)

• Account details: email address and login information.
• The files you upload (for example lecture slides) and the study material we build from them.
• Your study activity: answers, progress, scores and messages you send to the AI tutor.
• Purchase records. Payments are handled by our payment provider; we never see or store your full card number.

Automatically

• Basic technical data our hosting provider logs to keep the site running and secure, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested.
• Anonymous visit statistics from Cloudflare Web Analytics, such as which pages are viewed, the site that sent you, and your country and device type. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't track you across other sites and doesn't identify you personally.

3. How we use it

• To run No Time to Study: build your courses, save your progress and answer your tutor questions.
• To email you about early access, your account and purchases. Launch and product emails always include an unsubscribe link.
• To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
• To meet legal obligations, such as tax and accounting records.

If you are in the UK or EU, our legal bases are: performing our contract with you (running the service), your consent (waitlist and marketing emails, which you can withdraw at any time) and our legitimate interests (security and improving the service).

4. AI processing

To build your notes, questions and tutor answers, the content of your uploads and your tutor messages is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, which processes it on our behalf. Under its commercial terms, Anthropic does not use this content to train its models. We do not use your files to train AI models either.

5. Who we share it with

We don't sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share it for advertising. We only share it with:

• Service providers that run parts of No Time to Study for us: hosting and form handling (Netlify), visit statistics (Cloudflare), AI processing (Anthropic), payments (Stripe) and email delivery. They may only use it to provide their service to us.
• People you choose to share a course with.
• Authorities, when the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or others.
• A buyer or successor, if Vertex Ventures LLC is involved in a merger or sale. This policy would continue to apply.

6. Cookies and similar storage

We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. The site stores your colour theme choice in your browser so it stays the same next time. That storage is strictly necessary for a feature you chose, so it doesn't need a consent banner. Our visit statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) work without cookies. If we ever add analytics or advertising cookies, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

7. How long we keep it

• Waitlist details: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, or 24 months after launch if you never create an account.
• Uploads and courses: until you delete them or your account. Deleted files are removed from our systems within 30 days.
• Purchase records: as long as tax and accounting law requires.

8. Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

• give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
• correct it;
• delete it;
• stop sending you marketing emails (or use the unsubscribe link).

Email info@notimetostudy.app and we'll respond within 30 days. If you are in the UK or EU, you may also object to or restrict some processing, and you can complain to your local data protection authority. If you are in a US state with a privacy law, such as California, you have similar rights to know, correct and delete your information. We do not sell or share personal information as those laws define it, and we won't treat you differently for using your rights.

9. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and reputable providers to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach ever affects you, we will tell you as the law requires.

10. Where your data is processed

We and our providers are based in the United States, so your information is processed there. Where UK or EU law applies, our providers use recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses for these transfers.

11. Age

No Time to Study is only for people aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you believe someone under 18 has given us their information, email info@notimetostudy.app and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If the changes are significant, we'll also tell you by email or on the site before they take effect.
